a really nice thing happened the other day that made me really appreciate the crew of fulbrighters here. It was Amy M's birthday and we celebrate every fulbright birthday, of which there are alot. We didn't have any structured activities in the afternoon so Amy's birthday could have gone unnoticed by the group at large. But eta's (without the oc's) rounded up everyone after dinner and we sang to her in both english and korean. It was such a simple gesture yet it meant a lot. It also made me realize what a strong network we are building through this common experience. It made me really proud and happy to be part of such a great group of people who are all so accomplished in various ways and so caring of one another. Ok. enoguh sentimental talk. just thought i would mention it.
